  • Brian Botting Director

    Brian is a Director of Listers Property Consultants as well as a Partner of it's Parent Company Miller Commercial LLP and was a major part of the buy out of Listers in 2023. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well as a member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation. Brian has been in the profession since 1973 and joined Miller Commercial in April 2003. He is a self confessed 'shed' man and loves nothing more than exploring and valuing industrial properties all over the South West. He has previously worked in London, Nottingham, Devon and Cornwall. Brian specialises in valuation, rent review and lease renewal work as well as the assembly, acquisition and disposal of development sites. With responsibility for the Company's graduate scheme, Brian mentorship skills have ensured that so far 14 graduates achieve Chartered status by passing the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence. In his spare time Brian and his wife spend as much time as possible with their 3 children and 5 grandchildren, with their dog Woody coming along for the ride when he can.

  • Andrew Ranson Head of Valuation Services - Miller Commercial

    Andrew heads up our Professional Department who specialise in Valuations and Lease Advisory. He has been with the business since 2007 and provides valuations for loan security, commercial and residential development and investment funding, tax planning, expert witness, asset management, as well as lease renewals and rent reviews. Andrew is also a RICS Registered Valuer.

  • Susanna Sawle Senior Valuation Surveyor - Miller Commercial

    Susanna is a member of our Professional Department and carries out Valuations, Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews for commercial properties and business throughout Devon and Cornwall. She is also a RICS Registered Valuer. Away from work, Susanna enjoys outdoor activities on the north coast of Cornwall where she lives with her husband and two children. She is a keen skier and horsewoman.

  • Jess French Graduate Surveyor

    Jess joined the business in December 2025 as a Graduate Surveyor. She has a Masters in Real Estate from UCEM Reading and has until recently been working as an Associate Paralegal, Real Estate, for Womble Bond Dickinson in Plymouth. Jess will primarily be based within the Professional Team in Truro where Brian will mentor her through the APC. However, she will rotate around the business to gain as much experience as possible. Jess lives in Hayle with her husband and young son. She enjoys paddle boarding, camping, DIY and home interiors.
